BUNTASTIC!!!
Game 4 of the 1969 World Series was on @snytv last night. #Mets won 3rd in a row. One more and Mets win their first Championship. I try to cover these as if I didn’t know the outcome before hand. So while game 4 had that great catch by Ron Swoboda and a great comeback game for Seaver , I thought why doesn’t anyone mention the JC Martin bunt. They got his number 1969 WS game 1
Since the only #Mets game on @SNYTV was Game 1 of the 1969 World Series between the #Mets and Orioles- I thought I’d stay in training and do what I do. This one makes me sad. Tom had a bad game. But I’m sure he’ll pitch better his next start.
