 After plunking 3 #Mets last night, Nats went on to hit #Lindor in the face with a pitch tonight. This pitching inside has to stop. But I love my team. They are gritty. They fight back. Love ‘em. #lgm

Syndergaard let us foolish fans believe he couldn’t wait to come back and pitch for the Mets. He had us buying his Thor hype in forms of merchandise and giveaways. He even lulled us in to following along in his book club. He owed us a full season. We deserved to see the outcome of our support. But I guess we have. He really took us for fools.
