My NY Mets sketchbook. I create an entry after each Mets game or commentary on the crazy stuff going on around the team.
they gave you a great write-up... congrats!I am glad that your loyal readers can serve as a motivation to get through the season. As a Mets faithful in a different state (born in raised in flushing, moved after college), I know what its like to feel sick in devotion; it definitely helps to have others to share in your frustration. Frustration is starting early this year.Looking forward to the farewell drawings for Reyes & Beltran - your art will ease the pain.
That is terrific! So glad I found out about you. I really do hope your work get published in book form. I would definitely buy it each year.
I love how the Orange is worn down to the plastic. =)
Love this article in WSJ and LOVE your art as well. Congrat's! Think the diehard Mets fan in you will appreciate this song written by another diehard Mets fan (Don Rosler) about our most beloved Mets fan (Doris From Rego Park) -- the NY Times did an article about it recently but here's the Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0Wc8AkpMrE
Loved the WSJ piece. I look at every one of your drawings and yet I never noticed the pattern behind black and white and color illustrations. Interesting!
