Mets and cardinals always play to the death for some reason.
I think they just can't get enough of each other.
Mets rallied hard to dig themselves out of the hole that Johan put them in in the first.
He surrendered 13 hits, a career high, in 5 2/3 innings.
Dickey next up!
Let's Go Mets!!!!
great drawing, excruciating game, wrong date!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure? LOL
ReplyDeleteJoe,
ReplyDeleteI know it was the 28th(still) because I was able to squelch the fermenting coup my dogs were preparing to stage. Their relieved bladders prior to midnight essential extinguished the seething villagers torches.
But alas, Jerry, like Icarus, was unable to avoid the heat, and came crashing back to earth. (Hmmm...does that make Omar Daedalus?)
Honestly, I really can't fault Jerry for choosing to pitch to Pujols. It's not like Holliday was a better choice last night.
fire Jerry any way we can!!!!
ReplyDeleteI know it was not a win win for Jerry. But it really just came down to that. Not a fault thing. Just a thing. LOL
