i love this one!!!!! a lot of mets fan are down on frenchy this year, but i'm still a supporter. i like his hard nose approach to the game and he is a truly nice guy.
Yes, to be honest, I truly believe that Frenchy could be THE fan favorite (slightly ahead of Ike), if he could produce offensively. He clearly has the most fan-friendly demeanor of any player on the team.
I like D-Wright, but he is too Leave it to Beaver for me.
Frenchie leads a fan friendly list followed by Ike and Rod.
This art collection is one of the best I have seen. I hope you publish this in a comic style book or something like that.
As for Thomas here, don't you think you are asking for a little much coming from an artist? Artwork has little boundarys. The edginess is was makes it that much more powerful.
Sorry for the misspellings but I do these kind of quick. I will fix it when I get a chance.
Thomas, I did not mean for the piece to be offensive. I'm sorry that you feel that way. I am a good catholic and would never do anything I felt sacrilegious. I just felt he was crucified. Not like the Lord Just crucified. It was never meant to parody the crucifixion of Christ.
Haha thanks for fixing the spelling Joe. I figured if you were putting out a book in the future you would hate to see a misspelling after it was already printed. We are your spell-checkers and editors!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS ONE!!! I hate the stinky fish Marlins! Keep 'em coming!

ReplyDeleteSeriously - someone needs to frame this and get it to Frenchy as incentive to keep it up...great work, as always, Joe!
ReplyDeleteYou captured Frenchy perfectly.
ReplyDeleteJoe,
